This hierarchical chart depicts ACOA’s Program Activity Architecture, which
contributes to the Agency’s strategic outcome of "A competitive Atlantic
Canadian economy." The Program Activity Architecture comprises four program
activities, each supported by a number of program sub-activities. The first
program activity, Enterprise Development, is supported by three program
sub-activities: 1. Innovation and Commercialization, 2. Productivity and Growth,
and 3. International Business Development. The second program activity, Community
Development, is supported by four program sub-activities: 1. Community
Mobilization, 2. Community-based Business Development, 3. Community Investment,
and 4. Infrastructure Programming. The third program activity, Policy, Advocacy
and Coordination, is supported by three program sub-activities: 1. Policy, 2.
Advocacy, and 3. Coordination. The fourth program activity, Internal Services, is
supported by three program sub-activities: 1. Governance and Management Support,
2. Resource Management Services, and 3. Asset Management Services.
