Governance and Community Engagement
Governance & Community Engagement focuses on developing and managing the GC IM Governance (including strategic planning and logistical coordination) in order to enable effective decision-making in advancing IM. The objective of the community engagement aspect aims to strategically engage the IM community in developing and implementing tools and activities to affect cultural transformation in departments.
Key activities of Governance and Community Engagement include:
- Developing and managing the GC IM Governance (including strategic planning and logistical coordination) in order to enable effective decision-making in advancing IM in the government of Canada
- Developing partnerships within the IM Community to support the advancement of IM initiatives
- Supporting consultation with GC IM Governance bodies and the IM Community on the development of IM initiatives and priorities
- Planning and implementing strategic outreach and engagement activities, including:
- Key messaging and ensuring access to IM awareness materials for key groups within the IM
- Coordinating and managing all aspects of IMD's Web presence
- Managing the IM presence at key events (including CIOB Executive Summit, GTEC, speaking engagements, etc.)
