Foreign Service Directives - Policies and Guidelines
Foreign Service
The Foreign Service Directives are designed to provide a system of allowances, benefits and conditions of employment that, in combination with salary, will enable departments and agencies to recruit, retain and deploy qualified employees in support of government programs outside Canada. These Directives are co-developed with bargaining agents and public service employers at the National Joint Council of the Public Service of Canada.
