PCO - Support for the Minister for Constitutional Affairs
Allocation from the reserve
$millions
Description
- During 1991-92, the Right Honourable Joe Clark was appointed President of
the Privy Council and Minister for Constitutional Affairs, responsible for
the development of the Government's constitutional position and for the
consultative and negotiating processes. Resources originally sought to
support the Canadian Unity Initiative were insufficient and therefore, a
supplementary request of $11.5 million for the fiscal year 1992-93 was
necessary.
